Settle this before you design
The spout position is welded in and destroys the artwork under it
A fitment goes into the top seal — centre or corner — and the weld makes that patch unprintable. Centre spouts stand better and corner spouts pour better. Choose before design, mark the patch, and keep every piece of required copy well clear of it. Retro-fitting a spout position after artwork approval means redrawing the panel.

Choosing a cap size without thinking about who opens it
The cap has to be tight enough to be genuinely tamper-evident and openable by a tired adult with one hand. Caps chosen for their look alone routinely fail one of those two tests. Check the torque with the actual closure and the actual pouch before it goes anywhere near production.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom baby food pouches
What size pouch holds a 120 g portion?
Around 4.5 × 7in with a small bottom gusset for a typical purée. Liquids and purées fill a pouch efficiently, so usable volume is close to geometric volume.
Corner spout or centre spout?
Centre if the pouch stands on a shelf with the cap upright and symmetry matters; corner if it will be squeezed and poured. Either way the weld patch is unprintable and has to be planned around.
Does a baby food pouch need a carton?
For retail multipacks it usually does, because the pouch itself has limited room for the full nutrition information and a barcode, and because loose pouches do not merchandise well.
