Dieline management

Every dieline you own, in one system

Your brand, your product lines, every SKU — held as living documents on true production dielines, versioned, and editable in bulk by an AI designer trained specifically for packaging.

Ask a brand with twenty SKUs where their dielines live and the answer is a shared drive, somebody’s email, or the printer’s server. The current file is the one with the most confident name. It works until a warning line gets reworded — and then it is not one edit, it is twenty, with twenty chances to miss one.

TWOFORM is the only packaging software that holds the whole range instead of one artwork at a time. Design tools make you a picture. This makes your dielines a system you can actually operate.

What you can do

Brand vault

set once

Your exact inks as real Pantone references, the typefaces you own, your logo, and the compliance blocks you are obliged to carry word for word. Every design started under the brand already knows them, so nothing is re-uploaded, re-typed or re-approximated per project.

Product lines

the unit of a range

A line owns the die and its dimensions — a 4 oz stand-up pouch, a 50 × 38 × 127 mm carton. Every SKU beneath it prints on that same die and differs only in artwork. That structure is what makes changing a whole range one action instead of a project.

New SKU from an existing one

minutes

The approved master is copied VERBATIM onto the same dieline — no regeneration, no re-layout and no generation cost. The copy opens as an exact twin; you change the flavour, the strain, the strength. It arrives as in-progress, never as a master, because a duplicate nobody has edited is not an approved design.

Bulk edits across a line

one instruction

Restate a net weight, reword a warning, swap an expired certification mark — described once and applied to every selected SKU by an AI designer trained specifically for packaging. Each result is a NEW VERSION on its SKU. Your approved master is never overwritten and nothing is promoted automatically.

Put a design on another package type

one design round

The 4 oz pouch needs a 12 oz version; the carton needs to exist as a mailer. A carton's front panel is not a pouch's, so the design is REBUILT on the new die rather than stretched onto it — the AI designer is handed the original as an image, its markup, the new die's real geometry and the brand, and asked for the same brand, hierarchy and wording laid out for the new panels. The cost is stated before it runs, it lands as the new SKU's first version, and the source is untouched.

Fork a line

minutes

Creates the new line under the same brand, remembers its parent, and carries the SKU names across so the family arrives whole. It moves no artwork — each design is moved deliberately, one SKU at a time, by someone who decided it should be.

Import what you already have

immediate

Artwork made by an agency or a previous printer becomes a SKU too. It is rebuilt on a real production die rather than trusted as it arrived, and marked as imported so you can always tell an outside design from one built here.

Versions on every SKU

always on

One master, and the full history behind it. “Which file is current?” stops being a question anyone has to answer, and any change can be looked at before it becomes the one that prints.

An AI designer built for packaging, not for pictures

The AI that makes these changes works on the real production dieline — the actual fold, panel order, bleed and safe area of the die your packaging is cut from. It is not generating an image of a box and hoping it can be made.

And it is deliberately blocked from drawing the things that have to be exact. Barcodes, QR codes, nutrition panels and legal copy are placed by you and never regenerated, because those are the elements where a plausible-looking invention is worse than no help at all.

Common questions

What is dieline management software?

Software that holds a brand's packaging as a structured, versioned system rather than a folder of PDFs — organised by brand, product line and SKU, so a change can be made and reviewed across an entire range instead of one file at a time. TWOFORM is the only packaging software that does this on true production dielines with an AI designer trained specifically for packaging.

How do I update compliance copy across every SKU?

Select the SKUs in the line and describe the change once. It is applied to each and written as a new version on each SKU — never over the approved master — and every one is reviewed and blessed by a person before it can ship. The cost is bounded and stated before the run starts: one pass per selected SKU, no silent retries.

How fast can I create a new SKU?

Minutes. An existing SKU's approved master is copied verbatim onto the same dieline at no generation cost, so the new SKU opens as an exact twin and only what actually differs is changed.

Can I reuse a product line for a different package type?

Yes, in two steps. Fork the line to create it and carry the SKU names across, then move each design over from its SKU page with “Put on another package”. That REBUILDS the design on the new die — the AI designer gets the original as an image, its markup, the new geometry and the brand, and returns the same brand, hierarchy and wording laid out for the new panels. It costs one full design round, stated before it runs, and the source SKU is untouched. Duplicating inside the same line, where the die is identical, is byte-for-byte and free.

Is the AI general-purpose or built for packaging?

Built for packaging. It works on the real production dieline — the actual fold, panel order, bleed and safe area — and it is blocked from drawing the things that must be exact: barcodes, QR codes, nutrition panels and legal copy are placed by you and never regenerated.

Do bulk edits overwrite my approved artwork?

No. Every edit is a new version against its SKU. The master remains the master until a person promotes a version to replace it.

Bring your range into one place. Design on a true production dieline, keep every version, and change a whole line in one instruction.
