Packaging for Beverage Brands

Packaging for beverage brands is decided by the container you have already chosen, so the packaging job is decoration, multipacks and the case that gets it there. Here is how those fit together.

The formats that actually fit

Every one of these is a construction TWOFORM generates a real production dieline for, at your own dimensions — not a template you have to fit your product into.

The thing that decides it

Liquid is heavy and the case has to be specified for it

A case of bottles is one of the heaviest things a small brand ships, and an under-specified box fails at the bottom rather than the sides. Board grade and construction matter more than they do for almost any other product, and stacking strength is the number that governs.

The mistake this category makes

Designing the label without knowing the container

Label artwork has to wrap a specific diameter and height, and curvature distorts anything near the edges. Fix the container first, then design to its actual dimensions rather than to a flat rectangle.

How you actually make it

  1. Pick the construction and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
  2. Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a box.
  3. Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
  4. Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it, from 100 units.

Questions beverage brands ask

What packaging do I need to launch a drink?

A label for the container, a folding carton if you are selling multipacks, and a corrugated case to ship it. The container itself is usually chosen before any of that and constrains everything downstream.

Why does my label look distorted on the bottle?

Curvature compresses artwork toward the edges. Design to the actual wrap dimensions rather than to a flat rectangle, and keep critical elements away from the extremes of the curve.

How strong does a beverage case need to be?

Stronger than most people assume — liquid weight is unforgiving and failures happen at the base under stacking. Specify board grade against real stacked weight rather than by eye.
