A sticker sheet is a product, not packaging, and it is sold flat in a rack or posted in an envelope. Cut depth and the space between designs decide whether it works.

Settle this before you design
Kiss-cut depth and the gap between designs
A kiss cut goes through the face material and stops at the backing, and it needs a genuine gap between designs so the blade has somewhere to land and so a peeled sticker does not lift its neighbour. Leave a few millimetres between every shape and keep every cut line inside the sheet edge, or the outermost designs will lift in a mailer.
The mistake that costs a print run
Fine points and thin necks in the cut line
A star's point or a thin tail between two shapes tears when the sticker is peeled and stays on the backing. Round off every point to a small radius, avoid necks narrower than a couple of millimetres, and test the cut on the actual face material — a matte paper tears where a vinyl would not.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom sticker sheets
What size is a standard sticker sheet?
5.5 × 8.5in is the most common, with 4 × 6in and 8.5 × 11in also widely used. Pick the one that fits your mailer and your rack rather than the one that fits the most designs.
What is a kiss cut?
A cut through the sticker material that stops at the backing sheet, so individual designs peel away while the sheet stays in one piece. It is what makes a multi-design sheet possible.
Do stickers need to be waterproof?
If they will end up outdoors or on a bottle, yes — a clear or white vinyl with a laminate. Paper stickers are right for planners, packaging seals and anything that stays dry.
