Custom Candle Boxes
A candle box carries a dense glass vessel and is expected to look like a gift. Weight is the constraint people underestimate, and the base warning is the panel everyone forgets.
Skip the blank page
You already know what you are packaging, so there is nothing to set up. This opens the design engine with the straight tuck end structures on screen — then you type your own dimensions and the dieline is generated at that exact size.
The structures candle boxes actually ship in
Every one of these is a construction TWOFORM generates a real production dieline for, at your own dimensions — not a template you have to fit your product into. Each opens the engine already on that package type.
Settle this before you design
A filled vessel is heavier than the box expects
Wax and glass together make a candle dense for its size, and a carton that is fine on a shelf can split at the glue seam when it is picked up by one end. Size the carton so the vessel is supported by all four walls rather than hanging from the flaps, and if it ships alone, move to a rigid or corrugated construction.
The mistake that costs a print run
Designing the base last
Candle safety copy is required and it goes on the base of the vessel or the pack, which is exactly the panel nobody lays out until the end. Place it first as real type at final size and design the faces people look at around what is left. Squeezing it in afterwards is how it ends up unreadable.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom candle boxes
What size box fits an 8 oz candle tumbler?
Around 3.5 × 3.5 × 4.5in for a common tumbler with a lid. Measure the vessel at its widest point including any lid or collar, and keep the fit snug — a loose box lets the glass move, and movement is what breaks it.
Do I need a mailer as well as a candle box?
For direct shipping, yes. The printed carton is the gift and corrugated is what absorbs the courier network. A presentation box posted on its own generally arrives scuffed at the corners.
Where does the candle warning go?
On the base, and it is not optional. Lay it out at final size before anything else so it is legible rather than squeezed into whatever space is left.
