Settle this before you design
The heaviest thing in the box sets the specification
A curated box holding a candle, a ceramic and a paper card is carrying all its weight in two of those three items. Establish the packed weight of the heaviest arrangement you will ever ship and specify the board and the construction against it. Grouping the range by weight is what stops you over-building the light sets and under-building the heavy ones.

Filler chosen after the box
Shred, tissue and crinkle are not padding — they hide gaps and stop items sliding, but they compress to nothing under load. If items can move, the fix is a fitted insert or a smaller box, not more filler. Deciding the filler first also stops you buying a box that needs three times as much of it as it should.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom gift boxes
What size gift box should I use for a curated set?
Lay the items out in the arrangement you want, measure the block, and add a small clearance. Boxes chosen before the contents are arranged are almost always too deep and need filling out.
Rigid or corrugated for a gift box?
Rigid looks and feels like a gift and is right where the box is handed over. Corrugated is right where the box has to survive a courier — many brands use a rigid box inside a plain shipper.
Do gift boxes need an insert?
Anything with more than one item benefits from one. It fixes what the customer sees first, stops items knocking together, and removes the need for large amounts of filler.
