Warmth is the enemy of the shape and the scent
Soy and blended waxes soften well below the temperature of a warehouse in summer or a van in the afternoon. A pack that lets the cubes touch and fuse is one that arrives as a single lump. Use a tray or a divided cavity, and accept that a sealed pack holds fragrance far better than an open one.
The mistake that costs a print run
Printing the scent name where the sleeve covers it
Melts are bought by scent, and if the name only appears on a panel hidden by a tray, a sleeve or a stack on a shelf, the pack cannot do its job. Decide how the pack will actually be merchandised — face out, stacked, or in a basket — and put the scent name on the face that will be seen in that arrangement.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom wax melt boxes
What size box holds six wax melt cubes?
A standard clamshell of six lands near 4 × 1.25 × 4in inside a carton. Size the carton to the tray or clamshell, not to the wax.
Do wax melts need a sealed pack?
For fragrance retention, a sealed sachet clearly outperforms an open carton. Many brands use a sealed inner and a printed outer for exactly that reason.
Why do my melts arrive fused together?
Warmth in transit plus cubes touching. A divided tray or a cavity per cube keeps them separate through the soft phase and lets them set apart again.
