Settle this before you design

Movement is what breaks cookies, so the fit is the specification

A cookie that can slide half an inch will chip its edge; one that cannot move survives. Either stack them in a sleeve that fills the carton, or use an insert with a cavity per cookie. Both need the cookie's real baked diameter, which is wider than the dough ball and varies by batch, so measure a run rather than a recipe.

Selling a crisp cookie in a box that breathes

Paperboard is not a moisture barrier, and a crisp cookie in a bare carton goes soft in days. Whatever the outer looks like, there has to be a sealed inner — a flow-wrapped sleeve or a flat pouch — or the shelf life on the pack is fiction.

How you actually make it

  1. Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
  2. Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
  3. Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
  4. Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.

Questions about custom cookie boxes

How do I stop cookies breaking in the post?

Remove the space they can move in and put a corrugated wall around them. A snug sleeve or an insert inside a die-cut mailer works far better than padding a loose box.

Do cookies need a sealed bag inside the box?

For anything crisp, yes. Board lets moisture through, so the sealed inner is what holds the texture and the carton is what carries the brand.

What size box holds a dozen cookies?

For 3in cookies laid flat in a 4 × 3 grid, around 10 × 8in with 2 to 3in of height depending on whether they are stacked. Stacking halves the footprint and doubles the breakage risk.
