Settle this before you design
Small loose components will migrate unless they are bagged
Beads, findings and fasteners loose in a tray end up under the instructions and in the corners of the box, and a kit that arrives that way looks incomplete even when it is not. Bag every small component, label each bag, and let the tray hold the bags rather than the parts. It also makes checking a kit at packing far faster.

A deep tray with components layered under each other means the customer opens the box and sees a fraction of what they bought. Lay the kit out so the majority is visible at once, put the instructions on top, and use depth for bulk rather than for stacking components out of sight.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.

What size box does a craft kit need?
Lay the components out in the arrangement you want the customer to see and measure that footprint — typically 12 × 9in with depth set by the bulkiest item. The layout drives the box, not the other way round.
Should components be bagged separately?
Yes for anything small. Loose parts migrate in transit, and a kit that looks incomplete on opening generates support messages even when everything is there.
Where should the instructions go?
On top, visible the moment the box opens. Instructions found under the components are the most common complaint in this category.
