Custom packaging

Custom Hair Extension Boxes

Hair extension packaging is unusually long and unusually thin, and the product has to be shown without being handled. Length is what breaks every standard format.

Skip the blank page

You already know what you are packaging, so there is nothing to set up. This opens the design engine with the five-panel hanger structures on screen — then you type your own dimensions and the dieline is generated at that exact size.

The structures hair extension boxes actually ship in

Every one of these is a construction TWOFORM generates a real production dieline for, at your own dimensions — not a template you have to fit your product into. Each opens the engine already on that package type.

Settle this before you design

Twelve inches is where folded board stops

A folding carton is limited to about 12in on any single axis, and extension lengths run well past that. Either fold the hair, which brands avoid because it creases, or move to a rigid or corrugated format that has no such limit. Decide this before anything is designed, because it changes the whole construction.

The mistake that costs a print run

A window that lets people touch the hair

An open window invites handling, and handled hair looks used. If the product must be visible, close the window with a clear film patch. It is the difference between a display pack that still sells at the end of the week and one that does not.

How you actually make it

  1. Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
  2. Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
  3. Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
  4. Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.

Questions about custom hair extension boxes

What packaging suits 22in hair extensions?

Something without the folding-carton length limit — a rigid presentation box, a corrugated box, or a poly mailer for direct shipping. A folded carton cannot exceed about 12in per side.

Should the pack show the hair?

Showing colour and texture sells, but only through a closed clear film window. An open cut-out invites handling and the product looks second-hand quickly.

Can extensions ship in a poly mailer?

Yes — there is nothing rigid to protect and the mailer keeps them dry and light. Add an inner sleeve or a band if you want the unboxing to feel like more than a bag.
