A lash box is tiny, has to show the product, and gets opened and closed dozens of times by a customer who keeps the lashes in it. It is a reusable case as much as it is packaging.

Settle this before you design
The tray sets the box, and the lash band must not be compressed
Lashes sit on a curved tray so the band keeps its shape, and the box must close without the lid touching them. Design the tray around the lash's real curve and height, add a few millimetres of headroom, then size the box to the tray. A box designed first will always crush something.
The mistake that costs a print run
A window that lets the lid press on the lashes
Cutting a window removes the stiffest part of a thin lid, so it flexes downward when boxes are stacked and presses onto the band. If the design needs a window, either add a clear film patch that stiffens it or increase the headroom so a flexing lid still cannot reach the product.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom lash boxes
What size box do lashes need?
It follows the tray. A single pair on a curved tray typically lands near 3 × 3 × 2in, and slim cases go down to around 1.5in of height with a flatter tray.
Magnetic or drawer for a lash box?
Magnetic if the customer will keep and reuse the case, which most do. Drawer if the priority is protecting the band during shipping, since nothing swings down onto the product.
Can a lash box have a window?
Yes, but a window makes a thin lid flexible. Either back it with a film patch that restores stiffness or leave extra headroom so a flexing lid cannot touch the lashes.
