Custom Skincare Boxes
A skincare carton is picked up, turned over and read before it is bought, so it is judged in the hand. The ingredient list is long, the finish changes the colour, and the primary container's cap is usually what sets the size.
Skip the blank page
You already know what you are packaging, so there is nothing to set up. This opens the design engine with the straight tuck end structures on screen — then you type your own dimensions and the dieline is generated at that exact size.
The structures skincare boxes actually ship in
Every one of these is a construction TWOFORM generates a real production dieline for, at your own dimensions — not a template you have to fit your product into. Each opens the engine already on that package type.
Settle this before you design
The ingredient list has to be set at real size before the carton is chosen
Ingredients appear in descending order under standardised names, and the list for a full formula is long. It has to be legible at final size on the back or side panel. Set it first. If it does not fit at a size a person can read, the carton is too small — and that is a much less painful thing to learn before the front panel exists.
The mistake that costs a print run
Approving a colour before choosing the finish
Soft-touch lamination is the category signature and it darkens and mutes everything under it. Brands sign off a bright on-screen design and receive a noticeably deeper printed one. Decide the finish first, and specify any colour that has to hold exactly as a named ink rather than as a screen value.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom skincare boxes
What size carton fits a 50 ml jar?
Around 2.75 × 2.75 × 3in for a typical jar, measured across the lid rather than the body. The lid diameter is what has to pass through the opening.
Does soft-touch lamination change my colours?
Yes, noticeably — it deepens and slightly mutes what is beneath it. Specify a named ink for anything that must match exactly and expect the printed result to read richer than the screen did.
Do I need a carton if the bottle is already labelled?
Not for direct sales, where the label can carry everything. A carton earns its place when you need more legible panel area, tamper evidence, or a shape that stacks on a shelf.
