Custom Serum Boxes
A serum carton is the tallest, narrowest box most beauty brands will ever order, because the bottle it protects is a slim glass dropper. Stability and glass protection pull in opposite directions.
Skip the blank page
You already know what you are packaging, so there is nothing to set up. This opens the design engine with the straight tuck end structures on screen — then you type your own dimensions and the dieline is generated at that exact size.
The structures serum boxes actually ship in
Every one of these is a construction TWOFORM generates a real production dieline for, at your own dimensions — not a template you have to fit your product into. Each opens the engine already on that package type.
Settle this before you design
Height is capped by the base you give it
A folding carton stays stable only while its height is within about five times the square root of its base area — a 1.5 × 1.5in footprint supports around 7.5in of height, and less if it is going to be knocked. That is generous for a 30 ml dropper and tight for anything taller, so check the footprint against the bottle before assuming a slim carton will stand.
The mistake that costs a print run
Wrapping a dropper in a carton with no support
A glass pipette bottle rattling inside a slim carton chips its neck and can crack the dropper bulb. Either size the carton so the bottle is a snug fit on all four walls, or add a simple insert. An empty half-inch either side is where the damage happens.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom serum boxes
What size carton fits a 30 ml serum bottle?
Around 1.5 × 1.5 × 4.5in for a standard dropper bottle, measured with the pipette closure fitted. The closure is usually the widest and tallest part.
How tall can a slim carton be before it tips?
Roughly five times the square root of its base area. A 1.5 × 1.5in base supports around 7.5in in principle, but anything close to that limit will fall over on a shelf when a neighbour is lifted.
Do I need an insert for a glass dropper?
If the bottle can move inside the carton, yes. A snug carton is the simplest insert; where a snug fit is not possible, a simple board insert prevents the neck chips that a rattling bottle causes.
