Custom Supplement Pouches

A supplement pouch has to hold a hygroscopic powder, take a scoop, and carry a regulated panel that cannot be redrawn to fit. The panel is usually what decides the pouch size, not the fill.

Skip the blank page

You already know what you are packaging, so there is nothing to set up. This opens the design engine with the stand-up pouch structures on screen — then you type your own dimensions and the dieline is generated at that exact size.

The structures supplement pouches actually ship in

Every one of these is a construction TWOFORM generates a real production dieline for, at your own dimensions — not a template you have to fit your product into. Each opens the engine already on that package type.

Stand-Up PouchThe category default — it faces forward, reseals for a product used daily over a month, and gives a back panel tall enough for a full facts panel at legible type.Typical: 30 servings · 6.5 × 9.5in + 3.5in gussetDesign a stand-up pouchSee the dieline →
Flat-Bottom / Box-BottomLarger counts and premium tiers, where two extra side panels give the ingredient story somewhere to live without crowding the front.Typical: 60 servings · 7 × 11in + 4in gussetDesign a flat-bottom / box-bottomSee the dieline →

Settle this before you design

Lay out the regulated panel at real size before you pick the pouch

Serving size, amounts per serving, percent daily values, the ingredient list and the required statements all have to read exactly as approved and remain legible. Set that block as real type at final size first. If it does not fit on the back panel of the pouch you had in mind, the pouch is the wrong size — the type is not the thing to shrink.

The mistake that costs a print run

Sizing the pouch to the powder rather than to the scoop

A pouch has to be wide enough at the opening for a hand and a scoop to get in and out without spilling. Bags sized tightly to the settled volume are technically correct and miserable to use. Add headspace for the scoop and check the opened width, not just the volume.

How you actually make it

  1. Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
  2. Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
  3. Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
  4. Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.

Questions about custom supplement pouches

What size pouch holds 30 servings of powder?

It depends on the density of your blend — a fine powder near 0.7 g/ml and a fluffy greens blend near 0.35 differ by a factor of two at the same weight. Measure a scoop, multiply, add headspace for the scoop itself, and build to that.

Will an AI design tool redraw my facts panel?

Most generative tools redraw everything they are shown, which silently changes numbers. Place the panel yourself on the canvas as real type so it stays exactly as approved.

Pouch or tub for a powder?

A pouch gives you more printed area per unit of volume and ships flat before filling; a tub takes a scoop more comfortably and stacks better in a cupboard. Many brands run a pouch for direct sales and a rigid pack for shelf.
