Settle this before you design
Every tip needs its own cavity or it will be lost
Three or four pairs of silicone tips loose in a box will not survive the first opening. They need individual cavities in the tray, arranged so it is obvious which size is which and so a customer can put them back. That tray is the real design work, and it sets the box dimensions.

A box too small to repack
Earbud boxes are frequently reused as the storage case, and a pack that only closes with the cable wound exactly as it left the factory will not close for anyone else. Add a little slack in the cavity, and design the cable channel so a reasonable coil fits without forcing the lid.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom earbud boxes
What size box do earbuds need?
Around 5 × 4 × 2in for a set with a charging case and spare tips. The tray with individual tip cavities is what sets the footprint, not the buds themselves.
Do I need cavities for the ear tips?
Yes. Loose tips are lost on first opening and are the single most complained-about part of this category. Individual cavities, clearly ordered by size, solve it.
Should the box work as a storage case?
Many customers will use it as one whether it was designed for it or not. Building in enough slack for a hand-wound cable takes nothing away and prevents a box that no longer closes.
