Custom Phone Case Packaging

Phone cases are sold across dozens of device models from the same rack, so the pack is a wayfinding problem. The customer has to find their exact model in seconds or they leave.

Skip the blank page

You already know what you are packaging, so there is nothing to set up. This opens the design engine with the five-panel hanger structures on screen — then you type your own dimensions and the dieline is generated at that exact size.

The structures phone case packaging actually ship in

Every one of these is a construction TWOFORM generates a real production dieline for, at your own dimensions — not a template you have to fit your product into. Each opens the engine already on that package type.

Settle this before you design

The model name is the most important thing on the pack

A rack holds twenty models of the same case, and a customer who cannot find theirs at a glance buys nothing. Fix a single position for the device model, make it the second-largest element after the brand, and keep it there across the entire range. Everything else on the pack is secondary to that one job.

The mistake that costs a print run

A window that lets the case be taken out

People want to feel the material, and an open cut-out means cases are removed, handled and put back in the wrong pack. Back the window with a film patch. The customer still sees the colour and the finish, and your rack still has the right case in every box at the end of the day.

How you actually make it

  1. Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
  2. Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
  3. Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
  4. Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.

Questions about custom phone case packaging

What size carton fits a phone case?

Around 4 × 1 × 7in for a modern handset case with a little clearance. Measure the case, not the phone, and allow for any camera bump on the rear.

How do I handle a range across many models?

One carton size where the models allow it, one fixed position for the model name, and colour or print doing the rest. Ranges that redesign per model become unmanageable and unshoppable.

Should the case be visible in the pack?

Yes, through a closed film window. Customers buy on finish and colour, but an open cut-out means cases get swapped between packs on the rack.
