Settle this before you design
The insert carries the bottle, and the box carries the insert
A full glass flacon is heavy enough that a box with no internal support will fail at the corner of the base before it fails anywhere else. The insert has to hold the bottle off all six walls and spread the weight across the base. Design the insert with the bottle in hand, then size the box around it.

Specifying a finish that shows every touch
High-gloss and dark uncoated papers are the two finishes that show fingerprints most, and a fragrance box is handled repeatedly on a counter before anyone buys. Soft-touch, matte and textured stocks all hide handling. If gloss is the look, keep it to a spot area rather than the whole wrap.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom perfume boxes
What size box fits a 50 ml fragrance bottle?
Around 3 × 3 × 6in with an insert, though it depends heavily on the bottle shape and cap. Measure across the widest point of the bottle including the cap collar.
Why do fragrance boxes use a neck construction?
The inner neck holds the lid in register and frames the bottle as the lid is lifted. Structurally it also stops the lid dropping straight onto the bottle, which is what damages caps.
Does a fragrance box need an insert?
For glass, effectively yes. Without one the bottle rests on the base and the walls, and every knock in transit goes straight into the glass and the cap.
