Custom Watch Boxes
A watch box has to hold a heavy object on a soft pillow, present it at the right angle, and protect a crystal that scratches. The pillow is the design; the box is what goes round it.
Skip the blank page
You already know what you are packaging, so there is nothing to set up. This opens the design engine with the two-piece lid & base structures on screen — then you type your own dimensions and the dieline is generated at that exact size.
The structures watch boxes actually ship in
Every one of these is a construction TWOFORM generates a real production dieline for, at your own dimensions — not a template you have to fit your product into. Each opens the engine already on that package type.
Settle this before you design
The cushion sets the height and the bracelet sets the width
A watch on a pillow sits higher than the case alone, and a metal bracelet fastened around the cushion is wider than the head. Measure the watch as it will be presented, on its pillow, fastened, and size from that. Sizing to the case dimensions produces a box the finished presentation will not fit in.
The mistake that costs a print run
A hard insert against a crystal
Any rigid material touching the glass will mark it eventually, and a scratched crystal on an unworn watch is a return. The cushion has to hold the head clear of every hard surface, including the lid, and the interior lining has to be soft enough that vibration in transit does not polish a mark into the case.
How you actually make it
- Open the structure above and type your real dimensions. The dieline is generated at that exact size and validated against real manufacturing limits as it draws — if a size cannot be folded, glued and shipped, it says so before you design anything on it.
- Describe your brand and the AI designs the artwork directly onto that dieline — not onto a picture of a package.
- Place your own logo, barcode and any required panel yourself. The AI leaves them exactly as placed unless you ask it to change them.
- Fold it in live 3D to check it, then download print-ready files to use with any printer — or have TWOFORM manufacture it.
Questions about custom watch boxes
What size box does a watch need?
Around 4 × 4 × 3.5in for a single watch on a cushion. Measure the watch fastened around the pillow rather than lying flat, because that is the shape the box has to hold.
Does a watch box need a cushion?
Yes. It holds the head clear of every hard surface and presents the dial at an angle. Without one the watch lies flat, moves in transit, and the crystal finds the box.
Can a watch box be posted on its own?
It should not be. Rigid boxes scuff at the corners and offer little impact protection for a heavy item. Ship it inside a corrugated box with an insert that holds it off all six walls.
